Homenagem ao Britpop (-2)

Parece estranho, mas a Universal deixou de fora Blur e Oasis do CD triplo que faz homenagem ao britpop. Os dois maiores ícones do estilo que devastou o mundo durante parte dos anos 90 não estão em Common People - The Britpop Story, título que faz referência à música do Pulp que está no imprescindível disco Different Class.

Além da banda de Jarvis Coker, o material tem Supergrass, Suede, Elastica, Stone Roses, Super Furry Animals, James, Echobelly, Paul Weller, Placebo, Kula Shaker, Gomez, Stereophonics e mais.

O álbum vem com um encarte com textos de Bob Stanley, da banda Saint Etienne, que escrevia na Melody Maker durante a era britpop. O CD sairá no dia 08 de junho.
